man, i’m so fucking bored. i’m also getting sick of not being able to do shit at work. suffering through the last like 3 months, unable to do crap that i’m supposed to do because i’m babysitting is really getting to me.
on another note– why is it that when a company has some sort of data security compromise, they can’t man the fuck up and say “oh, sorry we didn’t pay attention to this bug, we’re fixing it”. instead, in almost every occurrence, the company suffering the compromise freaks out and declares some insane amount of losses. for example– that kid that broke into tmobile’s cellular network and compromised security on some secret service agent’s pda..tmobile filed for $10,000 in losses. where does that $10,000 come from? paying the team that will fix the issue that the kid exploited and open a dozen others? fucking retarded.
