not really. cadie and i are finally getting around to framing the fun concert posters we’ve been accumulating over the last year or so. a lot of the bands we like (mostly those on hydrahead records) have one-off printings of posters for single shows.
we’ve got three more of them that we plan on hanging over the couch.. they’re all 18×24 (wxh) and are pretty snazzy.
today, my poor cat had to go to the vet and get his shots and get chipped. all pet cats and dogs living in albuquerque have to be chipped, spayed/neutered and licensed. it’s a thing that the city’s doing to try and reduce the quantity of stray/feral animals. needless to say, i think the prospect of a little radio implant in my cat is kind of disturbing. better him than me, i guess.
in other news, the game bioshock came out for pc and i picked it up on prerelease awhile back. it’s very cool. totally creepy atmosphere. takes place in an underwater utopia called rapture. graphics are neat, sound is neat, the whole thing is stylized like it’s from the 50′s:
The biggest two bummers so far are: 1. it fucks with my windows gamma/brightness/contrast settings (took me forever to set because i had to buy a new monitor and calibrate it) and 2. i can’t get af/aa force settings to be accepted by the game, so there are jaggies. boo.
