holy shit
they fixed it. the whole banking thing, i mean. wowsers.
bank of america
god damn it. i can’t win. every month, i transfer half of the rent to cadie, who writes a check to the apt complex. this month, bank of america’s online account dingus showed my transfer was unsuccessful, so i waited a couple days and did it a second time after i was pretty sure it didnt go through (usually occurs instantaneously) yesterday, both transfers completed. yay overdraft. i just spoke to a rep who said to call in tomorrow and they’d waive my overdraft fees since it was an error in their online banking app, so i guess we’ll see if that works out or not.
weird.
going to work at 1700 on a sunday was a little weird for me. i have a feeling i might be pretty damned tired by the end of my shift. i burned some more music onto a dvd and brought it with me. i’ve got a mix of jesu, radiohead, sonic youth and mogwai on shuffle in foobar. now to find something to do.
new shift
starting the new shift on sunday. should be interesting. going from getting up at 6-something AM to getting up at 11 or 12 and leaving for work at 5pm to work from 6pm-2am. yay.
also, i’m regrowing my beard. FEAR THE BEARD.
to the idiots who live in this apartment complex
if you think it’s funny or something to set off the fucking fire alarms all the time, it’s not, god damn it! this is the second time in a week that the fire alarms in our building have gone off. it’s the 4th time in recent memory that we’ve had them go off. usually, it’ll go for 5 minutes and some asshat from the office or wherever will get off their ass and reset the system. this time, it went off for 20 minutes, it got reset, then was triggered again, was reset and then triggered again and reset and again and reset. total running time? 45 minutes or so.
