Had a good 4th of july. Had good handmade brats, boiled in beer w/onions and garlic. Also had a good andioulle sausage as well. Followed that stuff up with s’mores and punctuated things with good beer.
We lit some tame fireworks in the street, backlit by the monsterous mortars and numerous varieties of roman candles our neighbor used.
It’s nice having the space to do this stuff and also nice having people nearby who aren’t obnoxious teenagers or heroin addicts partying all night.
